As grownups, sometimes Easter can be very kid focused, but why not let the adults in on the fun a little bit too?
Whether you are wanting to do hostess gifts for an Easter party, or just celebrating your favorite people, making a beautiful Easter Basket for adults can be a great way to say thank you or show that you care.
This year I’ve decided to make up some Easter Baskets for the different people in my life that I want to show my appreciation for. I thought I would share them with you to inspire different ideas and inspirations for you too! I hope they help!
For The Foodie-

Rather than using a normal Easter basket- try swapping your container out for a nice food dish like a cheese cloche, tagine, utensil crock or picnic basket that they can use in their culinary pursuits!
For this basket choose a recipe to include and fill the rest up with goodies all centered around that recipe!
Items to include could be: cherished family recipes printed on a nice recipe card, spices, cheeses, dried fruits, spatulas and cooking utensils, a cookbook, hand towels, jams and preserves, and fresh herbs.
For The Gardner-

For this basket, choose a beautiful plant container like a terra cotta planter or a garden harvest basket your gardener can use afterward to plant or harvest from their garden.
Items to include could be: a hori hori Japanese gardening knife or other garden tools, seed packets, gardening gloves, small plant, plant labels, small bird feeder, liquid plant fertilizer and snacks like granola bars.
For The Handyman-

The handyman in your life probably wouldn’t appreciate a child’s Easter basket, but they would probably love a new toolbox or tool belt, so try using one of those for this Easter basket instead!
Items to include could be: new tools to add to their collection, miniature toolkit to keep in their car or wallet, work gloves, leatherman or other pocket knife, baseball hat, maybe some band aids, and their favorite snacks!
For The Grill Master-

I thought it would be fun to think outside the box on this one and use an outdoor lantern as your basket so it can be used as decor when you’re done!
Items to include could be: grilling rubs, seasonings and spices, BBQ sauces variety pack, balsamic vinegars and other favorite sauces, grilling tools, a nice apron, and snacks like fire roasted peanuts, etc.
For the Outdoor Enthusiast-

What better basket for an outdoors lover than a collapsible drink cooler for all of their outdoor adventures!
Items to include could be: a collapsible camping bowl, lanterns/flashlights, fire starting kits, cute rain ponchos, carabiners, a nice water bottle or mug, all in one camping utensils, granola bars, and some good trail mix.
For the Designer-

For someone that might actually have a use for a more traditional style Easter basket- I love using vintage apple baskets because they are easy to style for so many different seasons and looks!
For your designer friend it’s all about little pieces that inspire ideas and creativity.
Items to include could be: Fresh or artificial flowers, bottle of sparkling cider, lipstick, notebook and pen for writing down ideas, spring decor/trinkets, spring painting, watercolor set with a portable easel or other tools that fit their interest/area of expertise, small essential oil diffuser, and an inspiring autobiography
For The Couple/Romantic-

If you’re wondering if Easter can be for couples- absolutely! Even without kids at home, an easter basket for your significant other is a great way to say I love you and I’m thinking about you!
Items to include could be: candles, lotion or body oil, their favorite movie, popcorn, tickets to an event or couples coupons for chores or requests, couples question cards games, uno dare and other card games, and personalized items that they would enjoy like a piece of meaningful jewelry or their favorite treats!
Whatever your Easter Bunny brings this year, I hope you have fun celebrating and appreciating the people that you love!
Happy Easter!
